Local elections and censuses to be held in Kyrgyzstan without changes

Answering journalists' questions at a briefing on coronavirus, Omurbekova noted that elections to local keneshes are scheduled for April 12. “Campaign work and the elections themselves will also lead to a large crowd of people. This cannot be ignored. Therefore, the republican headquarters on coronavirus recommended the political parties to change the methods of agitation. This can now be done via the Internet, social networks provide tremendous opportunities for this,” she said. Omurbekova also noted that by election day, most likely, the algorithm of actions will be revised. The deputy prime minister added that there are no changes in conducting the census and housing stock yet.
