Medical workers infected with COVID-19 to receive compensation

Medical workers, who were infected with COVID-19 during the work will receive compensation, First Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubatbek Boronov told a news briefing. He said that the government is preparing a document on the need to pay compensation to doctors who became infected at work. “Today, 32 physicians have become ill with COVID-19. Those who get sick while working during the emergency mode will receive compensation. The other day the document will be released and will be announced,” he said. The vice prime minister added that among the physicians infected with coronavirus, there are those who have not been infected at work. Today, another 42 new COVID-19 cases were revealed in Kyrgyzstan, a total of 270, of which 32 cases of infection are medical workers. 25 citizens were cured and discharged from hospitals. Four have passed away.
