Medicinal products exported from China will be subject to commodity examination: Kyrgyz MFA

Bishkek, Apr. 13, 2020. /Kabar/. Medical products exported from China will be subject to commodity examination, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
In order to control the export of medical goods from China and ensure their quality and safety, the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China has issued an official notification.
According to the document, from Apr. 10 this year, the following medical goods exported from China will be subject to commodity examination:
- medical masks:
- protective suits;
- infrared thermometers;
- breathing apparatuses;
- medical surgical caps;
- medical glasses;
- medical gloves;
- medical shoe covers;
- medical monitors;
- medical disinfectant wipes;
- medical disinfectants.
As new stricter rules on additional requirements for exporting medical goods abroad came into force in China on Apr. 1 this year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic recommends Kyrgyz companies/organizations and individuals who may be planning to purchase medical products in China to strictly follow the requirements of the Chinese side.
In addition, there is need to timely submit to the relevant state bodies of China a full package of necessary permits for the entire cargo exported from China to Kyrgyzstan.
