Minister Cholponbayev urges Kyrgyz citizens to observe discipline

Bishkek, Mar.18, 2020 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Health Minister Kosmosbek Cholponbayev called on citizens to observe discipline, considering this measure one of the main in the fight against coronavirus. 3 people infected with new type of coronavirus were identified in Suzak region of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast. These are pilgrims who arrived from Saudi Arabia. "Chinese citizens managed to defeat the coronavirus outbreak through discipline. I urge the people of Kyrgyzstan not to panic, remain vigilant and adhere to the rules of hygiene," he said. Besides, Minister Cholponbayev urged citizens not to move unnecessarily and to look after children. On Mar.14 at the meeting of the Security Council it was decided to close educational institutions due to coronavirus for three weeks, from Mar. 16 to Apr. 8.
