Ministry of Defense of China donates humanitarian aid to Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 18, 2020 / Kabar/. In order to support the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic received a humanitarian aid on behalf of the Ministry of Defense of the People’s Republic of China worth about KGS 22 million, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan reported. Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, Major General Rayimberdi Duishenbiev, during a personal meeting, thanked Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen for the support and noted that the assistance once again confirmed the practical significance of the bilateral military and military technical cooperation. The cargo, consisting of 13 items, meeting the production standards of the Chinese side, was delivered by a special military aircraft of the Ministry of Defense of the PRC and will be distributed to the departments, units and institutions of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic for further use. This is the second batch of assistance provided by the Chinese side in the fight against the pandemic.
