Number of recoveries from COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan surpasses 500

Bishkek, May 1, 2020 /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, 42 patients with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have been discharged from hospitals within 24 hours, Head of the Public Health Department of the Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova told a news briefing. "All their repeated tests showed negative results. A total of 504 citizens have cured of COVID-19 throughout the republic,” Akmatova added. As of May 1, 10 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Kyrgyzstan, bringing the total to 756. Number of patients recovered has reached 504, including 144 medical workers. Currently, 244 COVID-19 patients are in hospitals, 11 of them are in serious condition and 5 are in ICU. 8 people have died.
