Opera and Ballet Theater in Bishkek enters top 10 best theaters of CIS

Bishkek, Apr. 17, 2020 / Kabar /. The Opera and Ballet Theater in Bishkek entered the top 10 best theaters in the CIS. The TourStat portal presented a rating of the best CIS opera houses in terms of popularity among viewers and online broadcasts on theater sites and on social networks. The list was prepared for the International Day of Culture, April 15, in honor of the Roerich Pact "On the Protection of Artistic and Scientific Institutions and Historical Monuments" in 1935. The top ten CIS opera houses include the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia in Moscow, the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus in Minsk, and the Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abay in Almaty, State Opera and Ballet Theater "Astana Opera" in Nur-Sultan, Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Akhundov in Baku, Armenian Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Spendiarov in Yerevan, State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi in Tashkent, National Opera and Ballet Theater of the Republic of Moldova named after Maria Bieshu in Chisinau, Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abdylas Maldybaev in Bishkek, Tajik State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Sadriddin Aini in Dushanbe. The rating is based on a study of the popularity of theaters and offers of online broadcasts.
