Organic products from Kyrgyzstan presented at festivals in South Korea

Bishkek, Oct.4, 2019. /Kabar/. On Sept. 27-29, 2019 the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in South Korea participated in the Global Family Festival, Gimje Horizon Festival, Wanju Wild Food Festival, held in North Jeolla Province. The press service of the Kyrgyz foreign Ministry reported that the Embassy took part in the festivals in order to actively present Kyrgyzstan. As part of these festivals, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Korea Dinara Kemelova held a series of meetings with heads of the local administrations of North Jeolla Province, Gimje city and Wanju, Imsil, and Sunchang Counties, as well as with heads of Chonbuk National University and Cheongju University. Ambassador Kemelova discussed with them the prospects of cooperation in agriculture, industry, innovative technologies, educational projects, as well as the recruitment of AAWC workers from Kyrgyzstan through the EPS (Employment Permit System). At the Wanju Wild Food Festival, where among foreign countries only Kyrgyzstan was represented, the Embassy together with Kyrgyz activists presented the tourism potential of the country, organic products of Kyrgyzstan in the form of honey, jams, natural vegetable oils, dried fruits, as well as felt and souvenirs, made by craftsmen of Kyrgyzstan.
