Soloists of Kyrgyz Armed Forces to perform at Katyusha Military Song Festival in Russia

Bishkek, Oct.31, 2019 /Kabar/. Soloists of the pops-folklore ensemble of the Central House of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan Rustam Ruslanov and Zulfita Meizer will take part in the Katyusha Military Song Festival, organized by the Russian Ministry of Defense. They will perform in the “Vivat, Victory!” nomination. Vocalists from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus and Kazakhstan will also demonstrate their skills. Katyusha Festival is held in six categories - soloists, ensembles and masters of squeezebox playing. The final of the contest will take place on Nov. 8 at the Central Academic Theatre of the Russian Army. The Katyusha jury traditionally includes both heads of the ministry and Russian pop stars. This year, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Nikolay Baskov will evaluate the work of military performers.
