South Korea to allocate Kyrgyzstan $50 thsd to combat coronavirus

Bishkek, Apr.3, 2020./Kabar/. Korea will allocate Kyrgyzstan $50,000 to combat coronavirus, the press service of the South Korean Embassy in Kyrgyzstan reported.
The Korean Government urgently allocates funds through the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
"In connection with an increase in cases of coronavirus infection in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Korean Government, aware of the lack of medical equipment and the need to improve medical services to combat coronavirus in the Kyrgyz Republic, has decided to provide emergency assistance through KOICA," the report says.
$50,000 will be used to purchase personal protective equipment (PPE) - 600 disposable protective overalls, 1,000 disposable masks, 500 N95 respiratory masks, medical goggles, gloves, gowns, etc.
As of Apr.3, COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan have increased to 130.
The first patient, who had confirmed case of COVID-19 died yesterday, Apr.2.
Five citizens have recovered and discharged from hospitals.
