War veterans in Osh awarded medals in honor of 75th anniversary of Victory on behalf of Presidents Jeenbekov and Putin

Bishkek, May 7, 2020 / Kabar/. Governor of Osh Oblast Uzarbek Zhylkybaev presented the commemorative medal “75 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945” to veterans of the Great Patriotic War on behalf of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov. In addition, WWII veterans were awarded anniversary medals on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin. In turn, 100-year-old WWII veteran Suranbai Aliyev thanked President Sooronbay Jeenbekov for the gift. Besides, veterans of the Second World War of the oblast received money and from local authorities. In addition, by decree of President Jeenbekov, each veteran of the Great Patriotic War was awarded 75 thousand soms, and rear veterans 15 thousand soms.
