Minister of Planning Discusses With The UK Ambassador The Promotion And Development Of Joint Cooperation In Economic And Investment Fields

Baghdad / NINA / - Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Planning, Muhammad Ali Tamim, met today, Thursday, the UK Ambassador to Iraq, Mark Bryson Richardson, and his accompanying delegation.


 A statement by the ministry stated that: "During the meeting, they discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries, in the economic, investment and trade fields, and energy issues."


 The statement added, "The two sides discussed the priorities of the government program, and the role of the United Kingdom in supporting the efforts of the Iraqi government, in implementing service projects, investing in clean energy projects, and confronting climate changes, as well as achieving economic reform and supporting the private sector."/ End
