Ministry of Transport of Kyrgyzstan receives 84 units of special equipment

Bishkek, June 21, 2023. / Kabar /. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bakyt Torobaev took part in the ceremony of handing over 84 units of new special equipment to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the press service of the Cabinet reported.

The equipment consists of modern dump trucks, motor graders, automixers, vehicles for transporting water and bitumen, tractors, bulldozers, excavators, fuel trucks, asphalt pavers and other equipment.

In total 669 units of equipment will be purchased for the road industry of the republic. Today, the first 84 pieces of equipment have been delivered, the rest of the equipment will be delivered in the near future, the report said.

At the handover ceremony, Bakyt Torobaev noted that, on behalf of the head of state, in order to develop, update and improve the material and technical base of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated appropriate funds from the republican budget for the purchase of special equipment.

“The use of this technique will provide great opportunities to improve the condition of our roads, adjacent infrastructure and improve road safety. It is necessary to use the equipment for its intended purpose and provide it with appropriate care, then the equipment will last for many years,” the deputy chairman of the Cabinet said.
