More than 52% of deaths in Kyrgyzstan are due to cardiovascular diseases

Bishkek, May 16, 2023. /Kabar/. More than 52% of deaths in Kyrgyzstan are due to cardiovascular diseases, Minister of Health of the country Gulnara Baatyrova told.

As part of the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, the Emergency Cardiology program was adopted, according to which it is planned to reduce the number of deaths by 25% within 5 years, she said during the visit of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov to the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy named after Academician Mirrakhimov.
