National Martial Arts Championship Starts in DPRK

Pyongyang, April 21 (KCNA) -- The national martial arts championship for the 2023 spring national sports festival started on April 20.

Attending the championship, to be held at the Taekwon-Do Hall and the Taekwon-Do Holy House, are more than 400 famous players, coaches and working people selected from Taekwon-Do teams and paduk teams of Paduk Centre across the country.

The championship will include different sporting events like Taekwon-Do, wushu, Korean chess and paduk.

On the same day, there took place individual pattern competitions, team pattern competitions and individual sparring matches of Taekwon-Do and Korean chess and paduk individuals. -0-
