Over 76 thsd tons of mineral fertilizers delivered to Kyrgyzstan since beginning of year

Bishkek, May 22, 2023. /Kabar/. As of May 16, 2023, 76.4 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers were imported into Kyrgyzstan, the country’s Ministry of Agriculture said.

Of these, nitrogen fertilizers - 57.9 thousand tons, phosphorus - 17.9 thousand tons and potash - 0.6 thousand tons.

Prices for mineral fertilizers in 2023:

• ammonium nitrate per 1 kg - 34-44 soms,

• carbamide for 1 kg - 42-49 soms.

Prices for mineral fertilizers in 2022:

• ammonium nitrate per 1 kg - 39-50 soms,

• carbamide for 1 kg - 47-62 soms.

Compared to last year, prices are 5-6 soms lower.
