‘Certain inspectors have leaked info on Iranian scientists’

TEHRAN, Jan. 16 (MNA) – Iranian Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi said that Iran will give a firm response to the United States, Britain, and Israel which had a hand in the assassination of the Iranian academic, Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan. Ahmadi-Roshan, a graduate of Sharif University of Technology in chemical engineering and an official at the Natanz nuclear enrichment facility, was assassinated in Tehran on January 11 when a magnetic bomb attached to his car detonated. “The U.S., Britain, and the Mossad will see the result of their actions, and the Islamic Republic of Iran will give them a firm response,” Moslehi told reporters on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting on Sunday. He added, “Britain and the U.S. cannot hide their involvement in the assassinations (of Iranian academics) and their evil hands (in such attacks) through saying, ‘We did not carry out those actions.’” “They have placed a wayward boy (Israel) in the Middle East and lay the blame for their crimes on him,” Moslehi stated. U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on January 11 that the U.S. government is not to blame for the assassination of the Iranian academic. “I want to categorically deny any United States’ involvement in any kind of act of violence inside Iran,” Clinton told reporters.
