‘UK decision to open interest section not a matter for consideration’

TEHRAN, Dec. 19 (MNA) – Iranian MP Alaeddin Boroujerdi said that Britain’s decision to establish an interest section at the Swiss Embassy in Tehran is not a matter for consideration since the relationship between Iran and Britain has not been severed. “London is seeking to resume ties with Tehran and therefore is trying to accomplish this objective through raising such issues,” Boroujerdi stated on Sunday. He also said that the establishment of an interest section should be based on a mutual agreement.
