24 people wounded in bombing at Bangkok army hospital

BANGKOK, May 22 (TNA) - About 24 people were slightly injured in an explosion at Phramongkutkhao Hospital in the capital city’s center. Government spokesman Lt-General Sansern Kaewkamnerd said Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha received the report and ordered special care for the injured and quick investigation into the incident. The bomb occurred at the dispensary area for commissioned officers on the first floor of the Chalermprakiat Building. Explosive Ordnance Disposal squads have sealed off the area and are gathering evidence. Among all of the injured, 22 were released from hospital and only two persons remain in hospital. Most of them were hit by flying glass. (TNA)
