9 Iranian sailors freed from Qatari prison

TEHRAN, Nov. 10 (MNA) – Iran’s Ambassador to Doha, Abdollah Sohrabi, says 9 Iranian sailors, who were arrested for illegal entry into Qatar’s territorial waters, were released from detention . Following intensive diplomatic efforts by the consular section of the Iranian Embassy in Doha, the sailors were allowed to return home after paying fines, Sohrabi explained.
