Abdullah bin Zayed denounces Boston Marathon bombing

Abu Dhabi, April 17, 2013 (WAM) - H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister, has condemned in the strongest possible terms the deadly bombing at the Boston Marathon on Monday 15th April which killed and injured many innocent victims. He denounced the heinous crime and expressed the solidarity of the United Arab Emirates with the United States. In a statement on the incident, Sheikh Abdullah said that "The UAE condemns such terrorism and criminal acts aimed at destabilising the security and stability of the United States, and urges all countries to stand united in face of terrorism, to fight it and to eradicate it, in all of its aspects, whatever its source and motivation." In conclusion, he also expressed sincere condolences to the U.S. government and families of the victims, expressing the hope that the injured would have a speedy recovery, and emphasising the UAE's rejection of such heinous criminal acts. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
