Abdullah bin Zayed meets Irish Prime Minister in Dublin

Dublin: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Foreign Minister, yesterday met the Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny in Dublin.
Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the regards of the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces to the Irish Prime Minister, wishing progress and prosperity to Ireland and its people.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah and the Kenny discussed the existing cooperation ties and friendship between the two countries and ways to strengthen them, especially the areas of economy, trade and renewable energy. They also tackled easing of visas renewal for Emiratis studying in Ireland. The UAE Foreign Minister and the Irish Prime Minister exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, focusing on Egypt and Syria.
For his part, the Irish Prime Minister asked Sheikh Abdullah to convey his regards to the UAE Vice President and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, stressing the interest of his country in enhancing ties with the UAE He welcomed the visit of the UAE Foreign Minister and accompanying delegation to Ireland, hoping that the visit would further take the bilateral relations to new stage and avail opportunity for trade exchange so as to benefit from potential resources of the two countries in all fields.
The Irish Prime Minister referred to the importance of mutual visits between the officials of the two countries to bring views closer and coordinate over a number of issues. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
