ABOUT NEW AIRPORT IN TOV AIMAG

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Executive companies who will construct an international airport in the “Hoshigt” valley in Tov province have delivered price proposals. About it said this project's team December 27 at the Ministry of Road and Transportation. Mongolia's Government made an agreement for soft term loan with Japan's Bank for International Cooperation(JBIC) in May of 2008. The construction plan and drawings were performed by the Japanese “Azusa Sekkei” and “Oriental consulting” companies in 2009-2011. As reflected in the loan agreement, the Japanese constructing organizations are to run a construction of the airport. It must be erected within 43 months starting from April of 2013. As suggested, the airport will open in October of 2016 capable of receiving three million passengers. The Mongolian and Japanese engineers have planned an extension which will allow to receive 12 million passengers in future. Ch.Enkhtuya
