A.GANSUKH APPOINTED AS HEAD OF INTERGOV'T COMMITTEE HEAD

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Road and Transportation A.Gansukh has been appointed as a head of the intergovernmental committee of Mongolia and the Republic of Korea. This appointment was made by a cabinet decision last week in conjunction with a willingness of the S.Korea's side to make investment to the infrastructure sector of Mongolia. Mongolia intends to cooperate with the Republic of Korea in the fields of railway, air and sea transport, especially in expanding the railway networks, continue talks about investments for the new railway project, its construction and on air relations. An intergovernmental agreement will be re-established as well. In addition, the Mongolian side wants to widen the cooperation with S.Korea in exploitation of sea ports, establishing a joint company of marine transport, preparing and training Mongolian experts on marine.
