AGRICULTURE IN STATISTICS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ By the first of this November, Mongolia gathered 470.5 thousand tons of cereals, 245.6 thousand tons of potatoes, and 97.8 thousand tons of vegetables. Apart of this, harvested are 1,140.0 thousand tons of hay, 33.8 thousand tons of handmade fodder, 975.3 tons of silage crops. Compared to same period of 2011, a harvest of potatoes rose by 46.3 thousand tons or 23.2 percent, of cereals by 25.2 thousand tons or 5.7 percent. Meantime, there are decreases in silage crops by 1.3 thousand tons or 2.3 times, in handmade fodder by 9.3 thousand tons or 21.5 percent, and in vegs by 0.5 thousand tons or 0.5 percent. Ch.Enkhtuya
