AIMAG CENTERS TO BE CONNECTED WITH ROADS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/. Connection of all provincial /aimag/ centers by paved road in 2012-2016 is one of the essential works reflected in the action plan of the Cabinet for Reform . Road network plays an important role in Mongolia, the vast and sparsely populated country. At the Cabinet meeting issues of planning for building a pavement road in recent years have been discussed . The cabinet has decided to connect six provinces by paved road in 2013. Some provinces such as Hovsgol, Dornod and Bayankhongor will be connected by paved road in next year. Gobi-Altai, Zavkhan and Sukhbaatar provinces in 2014, then Khovd,Uvs and Bayan-Olgii in 2015 will be connect by paved roads. Thus, a large amount of construction works will be implemented in 2013. The cabinet will give a priority to domestic companies in the construction of a paved road and ensure capacity of national companies. Ch.Enkhtuya
