AMBASSADORS PRESENT DIPLOMATIC CREDENTIALS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj expressed satisfaction with a sustainable development of the relations between Mongolia and Nepal, saying it after receiving the diplomatic credentials from Mahesh Kumar Meski, the Ambassador of Nepal to Mongolia on Tuesday. The State Head underlined that developing of bilateral and multilateral cooperation with Asia-Pacific countries is one of the important goals of Mongolia's foreign policy, and that Mongolia wants to boost ties with Nepal. He proposed regularizing high-level mutual visits and political talks in order to develop the relations and cooperation in beneficial spheres. Ts.Elbegdorj requested Nepal to send a high delegation to the 7th Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies (CoD) which is to be held in April in Ulaanbaatar next year. In turn, the Ambassador expressed a willingness of his country to develop the cooperation with Mongolia in the culture and tourism sectors, and said he will do all his best to develop the bilateral relations. ** ** ** The same day, the President received the diplomatic credentials from Mr Hamad Mohammed Mubarak Naser Al-Halifa, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Qatar. The State Head congratulated Mr Hamad on submitting his credentials, and conveyed his thanks to Qatar's Emir for a warm audience during his visit to the country in end of 2011. Noting that Mongolia wants to develop the economic cooperation with Qatar and to exchange experiences, Mr Elbegdorj affirmed that the Emir of Qatar has an invitation to visit Mongolia.
