Anti-Iran sanctions are U.S. ‘blunt weapons: Supreme Leader’s advisor

TEHRAN, Nov. 24 (MNA) – Ali Akbar Velayati, the Supreme Leader’s top advisor, said sanctions against Iran are the blunt weapons of the United States and have lost their effectiveness. Velayati said it is not the first time that the U.S. and its allies impose sanctions against the Islamic Republic, but they have no serious impact on the country’s progress.
