Any Aggression Against Iran Will Lead To Zionist Regime Demolition

Beirut, Feb 26, IRNA – Iran Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi said here on Saturday that any kind of agression against Iran would lead to demolition of the Tel Aviv regime. Outlining Iran's efforts to establish security and stability throughout the region, he stressed that the Zionists' recent anti-Iran move is resulted from their weakness. He referred to the Islamic Awakening wave in the region as an achievement of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran. The wave is against dominance of the US and occupation of the Zionist regime, he added. As to overthrow of several dictatorial regimes in the region, Roknabadi said several dictatorial regimes, which were established by the US to safeguard interests of the Zionist regime in the region, were overthrown by the Islamic Awakening moves. Condemning the West's conspiracies against regional states, he reiterated that the West, under the pretext of expansion of democracy and development in the region, is trying to strike a blow against the Syrian regime, as one of the important bases of resistance in the region./end
