Arab Parliament calls for joint international efforts against terrorism

Cairo, 18th February, 2015 (WAM) -- Arab Parliament (AP) has condemned all types of terrorism and violence and called for concerted international efforts to combat terrorism and eradicate it financially, economically, culturally and educationally. In a statement issued at the end of the 4th session of the First Legislative Term, the AP denounced the double-standard policy towards terrorism, and called for spreading the culture of affection, cooperation, fraternity and dialogue among different cultures and religions. The AP also urged countries and organisations to denounce violence and killing of innocent people in the Arab and Islamic world and the world at large at the hands of terrorist groups which burned, killed and attacked human beings, using religion as a pretext. ''Divine religions are innocent when it comes to terrorism.
