Armenian President receives credentials of UAE ambassador

Yerevan, May 29, 2013 (WAM) - : The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, has received the credentials of the UAE Ambassador to Iran and Non-resident Ambassador to Armenia, Saif Mohammed Obaid Al Zaabi. Al Zaabi conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and their wishes for further progress and prosperity for the Armenian President and people. The President of Armenia reciprocated the greetings and expressed appreciation for the UAE president, Vice President and the people of the UAE. The two sides hailed the relations between the two friendly countries, stressing the importance of developing them even further. Earlier, the UAE ambassador met with the Armenian Foreign Minister, Edward Nalbandian, and presented him with a copy of his credentials after which they exchanged views on issues of mutual interest. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
