Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation to visit Latvia

Baku, May 28, AZERTAC A delegation led by speaker of Azerbaijan`s parliament Ogtay Asadov will today embark on a three-day official visit to Latvia, according to spokesman of the parliament Akif Tavakkuloghlu. During the visit, Asadov will meet with Speaker of the Latvian Saeima Inara Murniece to discuss prospects for inter-parliamentary cooperation. The Azerbaijani parliament speaker will also meet with the Latvian President, prime minister, foreign and economy ministers to explore ways of deepening political and economic ties and discuss regional conflicts. The delegation will also attend an event on the occasion of the Republic Day of Azerbaijan.
