BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF FORMER FM CELEBRATED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Authorities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received last Saturday Mr Gombosuren Tserenpil who worked as a Minister of Foreign Affairs in 1988-1996. The Ministry's leaders paid tribute to him for his 70th birth anniversary. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia Ts.Gombosuren has worked as an administrative officer of the diplomatic service for many years, contributing to designing of an open, multilateral and independent foreign policy in times of transmitting to the democracy. Experts also consider that Mr Gombosuren significantly elevated the relations and cooperation with the neighbor countries in new conditions, formulating and implementing the Third Neighbor policy, developing bilateral and multilateral collaboration and strengthening the diplomacy. Present at the ceremonial measure were L.Bold MP, the Foreign Minister; D.Gankhuyag, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; G.Tsogtsaikhan, the State Secretary of the Ministry; L.Udval, a head of the Seniors' Committee at the Foreign Ministry; D.Yondon and J.Choinkhor, former Foreign Ministers; and other officials.
