Boroujerdi In Damascus To Meet With Syrian President

Damascus, April 22, IRNA -- Chairman of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iranˈs Majlis (parliament) , Alaeddin Boroujerdi is scheduled to meet with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Monday. Iranˈs parliamentary delegation led by Alaeddin Boroujerdi arrived in Damascus for a three day visit late Saturday. Boroujerdi and Syrian Foreign Minister Valid al-Moallem met and conferred about bilateral ties and Syrian crisis on Sunday. He had visited Syria in September 2012 for three days during which he met with President Assad and a number of other Syrian officials./end
