CABINET MAKES DECISION ABOUT RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On its meeting on November 3, the cabinet discussed ways of strengthening an implementation of the state policy on railway transport. The cabinet considered as vital the first and second levels' railway infrastructure reflected in the state policy on railway transport, approved this spring by parliament. Deciding that this infrastructure must be under a united leadership and organization, the cabinet ordered a "Mongolian Railway" state-owned share holding company to issue a right to erect the united railway basic structure and to form a state-dominating financial source together with domestic and foreign investors. It has been also told to calculate all the investment and expense, already issued by entities in constructing railway in some directions, and to attract them to the creation of the united basic structure.
