Chairman Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Marked in Bangladesh

Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- A Bangladeshi preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il was formed on Jan. 23. MD. Harun-Ar-Rashid, chairman of the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set a celebration period from Jan. 24 to Feb. 18 and decided to organize diverse political and cultural events including a seminar, photo exhibition and film show in praise of exploits achieved by Kim Jong Il in carrying out the Korean revolution and accomplishing the cause of global independence. -0-
