Chinese vice president to visit Turkey

ANKARA (A.A) - February 16, 2012 - Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping will pay a visit to Turkey, a statement by the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Thursday. The statement said that Chinese Vice President Xi would visit Turkey between February 20 and 22 upon invitation by Turkish President Abdullah Gul. President Gul and Xi will discuss bilateral relations, regional and international matters during their meeting on February 21. Xi will also hold talks with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek. On February 22, Xi will attend Turkish-Chinese Business Forum in Istanbul.
