Clashes continue in Egypt

CAIRO (A.A) - February 5, 2012 - Clashes continue between security forces and protestors in Egypt after at least 70 people died and hundreds were injured when violent clashes broke out at a football match in Port Said on Wednesday. 12 people died and nearly 3,000 protestors and police officers were injured in clashes which erupted after football violence in Port Said. Clashes which began in Cairo, Port Said and Suez on Thursday evening still continue. Egypt's Advisory Council said that presidential election should be held earlier than it was scheduled (in June) as a response to a week of violence.
