CONCENTRATING FACTORY OPENS AT OYU TOLGOI

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The concentrating factory of Ouy Tolgoi LLC opened Thursday. The ceremony has run in Khanbogd soum of Omnogobi province. The Minister for Mining Mr D.Gankhuyag has pushed a button switch of a self-pulverizing mill starting thus the factory's work. The factory is able to process 35 million tons of ore a year. Its construction began in June of 2010. Cameron McRae, Oyu Tolgoi LLC president and CEO said that “Now we are able to process a copper concentrate in the first quarter of 2013 and to export it by a second half of this year.” Ch.Enkhtuya
