Culture Days of Jordan in Kazakhstan

Astana, 17 September 2008, (Khabar) - Culture days of Khashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Kazakhstan are dedicated to 15th anniversary of beginning of diplomatic relations between two counties.

Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed, Minister of Culture and Information and Minister of Culture of Jordan Nancy Bakir have opened Culture Days.

Both of ministers have stressed the importance of this action and noticed the raise of inter relations of two states in commercial and economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Culture Days of Khashemite Kingdom of Jordan will last for one week and exhibitions of national masters, tourist and photo exhibitions, concerts will take place in the capital. The main task is to get acquainted Kazakhstani residents with
ancient culture of Jordan. The Kazakhstani delegation will hold its Culture
Days in Oman the next year.

Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed, Minister of Culture and Information of RK:
- The policy of the leadership of Jordan is directed for achieving of
international accord, inter religious tolerance and maximal openness of
economy. And our policy resembles in much the policy of head of our state.

Nancy Bakir, Minister of Culture of Khashemite Kingdom of Jordan:
- I think the main is realization of agreements on cooperation in sphere of
culture, as cooperation in this sphere strengthens interaction in other
spheres. That's why we must get to know each other closer.
