D.ARVIN TO BECOME MP FOR THE FOURTH TIME

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The General Election Commission (GEC) submitted on Monday a resolution on considering D.Arvin as a winner of the parliament re-election at the city's Bayanzurkh district #22 constituency. A choice between two candidates from the Mongolian People's Party was made by electorate together with the election of the Citizens' Representative Khural of aimags, soums and city's districts on November 21. D.Arvin and B.Batzorig did not get votes above 28 per cent in parliamentary election this June. At the re-election, D.Arvin got 43.1 per cent of votes, B.Batzorig--40.0 per cent. Ms Arvin becomes thus a MP for the fourth time, she was elected MP in 2000, 2004 and 2008 from Khentii aimag. B.Khuder
