D.ARVIN MP LEAVES HER PARTY TO BECOME DEMOCRAT

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Recently elected from the Mongolian People's Party (MPP) the MP D.Arvin has left her party to join the Democratic Party (DP). On Thursday she received the MP's membership card from the Prime Minister and chairman of the DP N.Altankhuyag. Last week she was sworn in as the MP this making the State Great Khural with 73 members. "I congratulate Ms Arvin on joining us. She has made her choice to work together for the democracy, to improve a livelihood of people and to develop the country," Mr Altankhuyag said. Mentioning that there are many problems she concerns over, D.Arvin stressed her choice is based on the ambition to make great reforms for people and on her full acceptance of the DP's primary policy.
