Defense Minister: Iran To Showcase New Marine Patrol Aircraft Soon

Tehran, Jan 17, IRNA – Minister of Defense Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said that Iran will soon showcase its new marine patrol aircraft. Vahidi added that the aircraft have been designed and constructed by Iranian experts. The minister hoped that the aircraft will be showcased during the ten-day ceremonies to celebrate the anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran which will begin on January 30, 2012. According to Vahidi, Iranian scientists are completing the final phase of a research project to send a satellite carrying a biological package to the space soon./end
