Delegation of Parliament members leaves for Morocco to participate in OSCE PA

Bishkek, Oct.4, 2019. /Kabar/. Delegation of the Jogorku Kenesh, headed by Chairman of the Coalition Majority and leader of the SDPK parliamentary caucus Isa Omurkulov, will participate in the autumn session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Morocco on Oct. 4-6. The delegation also includes Bakyt Torobayev, leader of the Onuguu-Progress faction, Kanybek Imanaliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Security of the Kyrgyz Parliament, and senior staff of the Jogorku Kenesh apparatus, the press service of the Parliament reported. Prior to the opening of the session, a Mediterranean Forum on the: “North-South Cooperation Models and Economic Connectivity of the Mediterranean Region in a Globalized World” theme will be held. After the opening of the session, parliamentarians will discuss topical issues: - “The OSCE and the African Regional Cooperation on Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices”; - “The Euro-Mediterranean Region and the Challenges Posed by Climate Change: Economic Development and Environmental Migration”; - “Combating Intolerance and Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief”.
