DEMPARTY FACTION MEETS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A meeting of the Democratic Party's faction on Wednesday discussed several draft laws that are being considered at the parliamentary session. A report on gave S.Odontuya MP, a deputy head of the faction. A first clause of an amendment was accepted which says about a suspending an MP power who is caught in criminal act on the spot. But another clause was not backed about thesame action towards an MP whose involvement in a criminal case is confirmed by an investigator. The faction also discussed a draft amendment to the law on approving a list of state secret documents, and then considered as necessity to discuss it at parliament. It has been required to alter the law on the state secret documents because an information regarding civil registration is needed to be transparent for the public. The democrats' faction decision to set up a working group to have it worked on the amendment to the Constitution of Mongolia, to tackle a financial matter in a scope of amending the law on political parties. It may prevent huge expenses for political parties, the faction said. B.Khuder
