Digitalization of country’s economy is our main goal for 2020, PM Abylgaziev

Bishkek, Jan.13, 2020. /Kabar/. Our main goal in 2020 is to digitize country's economy, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev said at the meeting of the Coordinating Council on Digitalization of Tax and Customs Procedures. He noted that in 2019, many issues were considered for fiscal and customs procedures, including the adoption of the law. "The Government adopted regulatory and legal acts, as well as the Concept on Fiscalization," the prime minister said. Abylgaziev reminded entrepreneurs had begun to pay taxes in electronic format. According to the head of government, digitalization of the economy is one of the main issues in 2020. "It means to conduct business on the basis of law, to create all the conditions for this. That is, our main goal is to create simple procedures for businessmen,” PM Abylgaziev said. The Kyrgyz prime minister drew attention to the underground economy, noting that fiscalization would lead the economy out of the shadows.
