Discussion on Issue of moving parliament to Tbilisi starts in committees of Georgian Parliament

Georgia, Tbilisi, October 31/Trend N.Kirtzkhalia/ The discussion on the issue of moving the parliament to Tbilisi will start in the committees of the Georgian parliament from Thursday. As is known, the minority is against this amendment to the Constitution. According to the MP of the majority Tina Khidasheli, the moving of the parliament to Kutaisi created many problems not only in the supreme legislative, but also in executive power, therefore, it is necessary to move it back to Tbilisi. "It was absolutely absurd to move the parliament to Kutaisi, when the government remains in the capital. Parliament is simply bound hand and foot in their actions as our contact with the executive power was interrupted. I think that it is necessary to return the parliament to Tbilisi and give it opportunity to function normally. But the statements of the minority are ungrounded since the local development cannot determine only one concrete building located in one place. This is so self-evident truth that I think there is no need to give any arguments," Tina Khidasheli said. Do you have any feedback? Contact our journalist at agency@trend.az
