DRAFT NEW WORDING OF LAW SUBMITTED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Speaker Z.Enkhbold Tuesday received a draft new wording of the law on the Presidential Election from L.Tsog, a Vice Speaker of parliament; and R.Burmaa, N.Battsereg and Ts.Davaasuren MPs. With 69 clauses in 13 articles, the draft new wording reflects some principal changes in accordance with the law's concept, for example, it regulates a legal basis for letting the abroad living Mongolian vote in the Presidential election, allows the state servants to take part in an organization of the election, puts a tough control over the election campaign. It is projected that the draft will refine upon the legal environment for carrying out the Presidential election and improve the law's quality, the draft initiators say, adding that it also has a clause about solving any possible conflicts, based on real facts and documents.
