EMBASSY OF MONGOLIA RUNS MEETING FOR CHINGIS KHAAN'S ANNIVERSARY

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Embassy of Mongolia to the People's Republic of China organized a meeting for Mongolists, Beijing-based Mongolian companies and representatives and students on November 12. This actions has been dedicated to the 850th anniversary of Great Chingis Khaan. It has attracted some 30 representatives of Department of Asian affairs of the Ministry of foreign affairs of China, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, universities, international radio. The Ambassador Ts.Sukhbaatar presented a parliamentary resolution on marking the 850th anniversary and thanked all for coming to the event. Then he introduced the action's main person Wang Yingming who lived for many years in Mongolia and participated in the 800th birth anniversary of Chingis Khaan in 1962. A Doctor of historical science, the Embassy adviser Ts.Batbayar made a presentation on the development and present situation the Chingis Kkhaan studies since 1990. Ch.Enkhtuya
