Envoy: Nobody Dares To Attack Iran

Vienna, March 5, IRNA – Iran Ambassador to Austria Ebrahim Sheybani said nobody dares to attack Iran. Speaking in a round table discussion in International TV Network “ Cervus”, Sheybani stressed that whoever attacks Iran will undoubtedly be defeated. Responding to a question concerning possibility of war against Iran, Sheybani said that war would not happen because of two reasons; first Iran is a peace lover nation and second nobody dares to attack Iran. He added that Iran has always been land of peace and that at least for the past 200 years, Iran never attacked any country, but western media have presented an unrealistic and manipulated picture of Iran. The envoy continued that Iran does not attack anybody, but 'we are always ready to defend ourselves'. Concerning possibility of Israeli attack against Iran, the ambassador said that the Zionist regime is not in a situation to attack Iran. He underlined that the Zionist regime will be demolished, because it is an inhuman regime. On EU sanctions against Iran, Sheybani said that imposing sanctions is an inhuman act and that Iran has had a long history of relations with Europe and Austria. Austria had its first ambassador to Iran in year 1529. He expressed hope that historical relations with Europe would continue and Iran would not be forced to change its policy in this concern.
